SCHOOL HAS REOPENED FOR A WEEK!
well, it was really hectic for the first week.
mon-tues:orientation days for the sec 1s.
wed-fri: it was proj proj, hw hw all the way.

but well, next week will be even tougher.
3 cca days. more prefectorial board mtgs,
chinese o'level results, more tests, more tuitions.

hee. many thinks i'm BUSY.
but well, indeed i'm quite!
i rather be busy than to be not.
i loved to be occupied.
but YET i find time for myself tho!

A BIG HELLO TO EVERYONE!

It's been a while since i blog and tell everyone about
the recent happenings in my world!(:

hehe, 2008 has really been a year of breakthru!
family-
all along, i'm not really very close with my parents and my sibling.
and this year has really been a breakthru for the relationships within my family.
there's many quarrels, much unhappiness, many conflicts, many cold wars.
However, God always protects, He nevers fails to govern this family of mine
and brings us closer together.

ministry-
Cellgroup:
hehe. reflecting back, it's joyce that brought me into church.
And i started off as a baby christian in e243!
i stayed in e243 from dec 2005-july 2007!
along the way, it's the different leaders that sowed into me,
and brought me up to who i am now.(:
they are none other than denise, elise, eunice and vincent.
they are the ones i will always remember in mind,
and appreciate in the heart.(:

from august 2007 till the present,
i'm multiplied into n397!
in n397, God brought another leader to me.
none other than ADALIA TAN LIWEI.
hehe. she's someone special i know.
if i ever want to give her an award,
i will bring a "MOST LOVING" leader award to her.
she's just like a spiritual doctor in the cg.
she never fails to encourage, counsel, and meet the needs of the members.
she always avail herself, not only by words, but by presence.
she stays in REDHILL, when more than half the cg lives in the EAST.
but she makes the point to come down all the way to the EAST,
no matter it is to meet the members and friends or newcomers.
having her as leader, i'm secured in the heart that i'm not alone in this cg!(:
hehe.
progress: member-helper-treasurer-cgc of 4 members+treasurer.
God is good.
Jeremiah 1:7 will be my life-verse.
at the end of the day it doesn't really matters which position i am in,
but it matters within me about how many different ones i've impacted!(:
this is my goal.hehe.

usher:
i'm in the usher ministry for 2 years!
and it has really been a training ground for me into cg ministry.
i meet different ones, serving different ones every week.
it's in the usher ministry, that teaches me to humble myself even more.
also, most importantly to build up my confidence level!(:
progress: member-usher helper.

school-
a breakthru year in prefectorial board.
from a probationary prefect-prefect-senior prefect-vice head prefect.
well, but the greatest concern here is to impact more lives,
and bring a revival in this school as someone significant in the school.(:

in 2008! God has built me stronger as a person.
i meet failures, but i never fails to pull myself up again and again!
God brings me into different relationships.
eg.-reconcilation and closer relationships with siqi and siyun.

Many times in this world we live in,
we faced hard times, stresses, pressures,
we wept,wept,and wept.
for some people, even indulge in self-pity.(:

well. i often ask God how to be of good cheer
when everything has been so discouraging, so disappointing,
so heart-breaking for me.
and he revealed..."hope in ME."

Romans 5: 1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope
of the glory of God.
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
and perseverance, character, and character, hope.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

our emotions are lead by our thoughts.
God reveals that in this world, tribulations are inevitable.
however what kind of thoughts we have towards our circumstances lead to what kind of emotions we have.
we can choose to sulk, feel sorry for ourselves, wake up every morning and mourn.
OR
we can choose to speak to the mountain, speak to the storms, staying positive, be of good cheer, wake up every morning confessing that we have overcome the world!

God is faithful, in times of troubles, be of GOOD CHEER,you're never alone!(:
He will not let you be in tribulations beyond what you can bear.
HOPE IN GOD! trust God that he can provide a way out for you.(:

i had my first and ever first connect grp fellowship
TODAY!
cyra,wuian and me met up at bugis,
with cyra coming from home after school,

and me after school!
we ate billy bombers,

then had a short walk around bugis with our mac-icecream in hand.
ALSO. randomly, we bought a very funnnnny small gift for
max's upcoming concert. heeee.

frankly saying, it's never easy to be discipline to attend school in the early hour
EVERY SINGLE DAY.
by human nature, by human flesh, everybody is unwilling, everyone feels restless about it.
by HUMAN NATURE, i detest the things this and that..blablabla.
I DUN LIKE TO DO THE THINGS I DETEST.
BUT. by SPIRIT NATURE, i love the things i detest.
ALL we need is just an encouragement from God,
ALL we need is to have this change of mindset of "i" attitude from our flesh,
ALL we need is a rhema from God,
these in turn become the strength from God to do what we dislike.
and we will move to do what is right for us.(even the dislikes)
WHAT we dislike to do in human nature will in turn become LOVE TO DO in spirit nature.
because we are working and running in the realm of a rhema from God.

truly, i fear, i doubt sometimes in what God has promised too.
but courage is not the absence of fear.
having faith, doesn't mean no doubts!
BUT also rhema becomes the strength and support from God when i fear.
but well, it's always A CALL from God away to tune into His courts again
whenever doubts sneak into one's mind.
i would do anything just to keep the fire in me in everything for God.

Be close to the holy spirit, everything is possible with God alone.
for my chinese o'level in 2 days time. i declare i yearn for an A1!(:

As i was praying for this upcoming arise&build season,
i was reminded of this verse.
This season my Daddy God will be testing all hearts and minds.
i strongly believe we all give for a reason.
yesh, it is building the house of God, building lifes.
BUT on the other hand,
we ALL had something real DEEP in our heart,
that we are asking Him for to fufill for us.
And this season, He is testing the heart and mind to give willingly,
to give an amount that is proportional to what we want Him to bless us with.
He's not going to bless us with the same measure of what we give Him,
but He sees the heart of willingness,
and there He will multiply our assets, as well as give us MUCH more than
what we've ask for this season. (:

a 6.40am alarm in the morning shook me off today!

& i really gota apologize to myself..
i get changed, prepared and left the house 15min later!

UNCOMFORTABLE all over.
but well i wasn't late for school. COX..hee,

well, i had forum with the principal and leaders today!
in future, it's going to be once a term.
but today we talked about the "plans" for the school.
we brought up suggestions that we want
leaders' uniform,
pool tables,
casual wear weekday each week,
and so on...
and all these we got to come out with our proposals to be approved.
i think in this way, the whole school is going to turned up to be like a
"polytechnic" style.
aniway the fish breeding spa in school is alr quite done.

and the canteen is going to have new western,indian,and vegetarian vendors
in JAN! yay. hee

well, the principal said that the leaders made a diff in school,
and we get to represent our peers to contribute our views for the school development.

alright! i've to say i'm totally in high spirits today!
i woke up being very moody today!
cox i had a total of 5 periods of maths for today=x
booo..!

well, but! today i took the same bus 3 with siqi to school today!
had a good chat, and i started off a morning well!=D

hee! during maths lesson,
was chatting with jinyang while doing some practice work.
and he gets irritated when i keep asking him repeated questions,
keke, well my admitted my mind is not very flexible when it comes to maths' sums,
found out that i always make careless mistakes or asking stupid questions!
SO while practicing the sums,
my dm spotted jinyang reprimanding me,
& thought that i was giving attitude to jinyang. haha.
we made a laughter out of it.
5 periods of maths turned out to be fun and enjoyable today!

did gardening cip work today!
a breakthrough!=D
a spoilt child,
i picked out the pebbles from the ground,
cut and pluck out the weeds using bare hands with gloves(with spades for moments)!
then, organize the pebbles back neatly again!
woah. hehe.

prefect meetings, cca, talentime duty, parents teachers' dialouge duty,

i took back two tests that i've taken last week.
i PASSED my ENGLISH COMPRE!
i TOP my CHINESE VOCAB TEST,
with a REWARD of additional 5 marks to the future hmt compo!

HOWEVER!
i do tend to feel weary with all the business,
feel discouraged when things dun happen the way i want it to be,
feel stressed up in the midst of coping both studies and handling the p-board,
feel burdened with all the problems that are arising around me,

BUT these "FEELINGS" couldn't, shouldn't and didn't prolong.

everything lies on a choice to be made in the end,

school has really been REAL hectic for me.
early in the morning i will wake up as early as 5.30am.

this has been the routine from monday-fri.

After shoppin for a few hours crackin our head
while buyin presents, we headed to NEW YORK,
for our meals! HOHOHO!
cost us big bucks, but worth the meal,

22nd-25th Dec 07- annual Christmas season.
this year, the 3rd year i'm celebratin Christmas in chruch.
a word comes in from papa for me!(:

Jeremiah 1:7-8
"But the Lord said to me: "Do not say I am a youth,'
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Do not be afraid of their faces,
For I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord.

God assured youths for a great destiny in our life.
satan assured to destroy young people OF A REASON
that satan knows God has a powerful call on the youths.
God is telling us that do not be afraid in any situations,
for He has a plan for the youth at the forefront of His kingdom purposes!

However fears do not cease when it comes to facing challenges!
What is the use of having faith but without the ability to pick up the courage
to carry out the actions...

Taking soul-winning for an example!
Many takes soul-winning as a task, as a chore given by God,
to be done,to be complete.
Many have the faith to bring many friends, BUT...
people fear to face people, fear of rejection from friends,
fear of disappointments...
But God is telling all in proverbs 11:30 that,
"The fruit of righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise."
Winning souls has to be wise, it's about buildin relationships.
Like what it's always said,
"people don't care how much we know, until they know how much we care!"
To be able to start successful relationships with the surrounding people,
we need the to be skilful, to be intelligent and annointed from God.
He's asking us to start sowing seeds into relationships and at the season of harvest,
we will reap bountifully(:

Do not be afraid of the people around you,
start adding courage into your faith,
to make decisions, to stand your ground!
Be strong and of good courage, for God will be
with you wherever you are.

For this Christmas season, God has made it possible for me
to invite 10 to church, and 7 to receive salvation or redec.
i will believe n trust in God that a revival spark will set off
in both my pri sch n sec sch!
a few of my sec school chc members n me will even be havin
a prayer walk in sch soon! whoo!(:
if God can do this for 1 person, He can does it for every single
one out there who desires it!
A miracle happens again and again. Praise God!

God wants the youths to be strong in the spirit and

be grounded in the word of God to gain victory in
every spiritual warfares!

had a nearly 24 hours day of fun with MISSY WUIAN ystd!=D
hehe! went bugis street with her to get the shirt she wans=x
in the end, she din get it n bought another clothin=x
oh man, things caught my eyes n i bought....again...!!!=x
this shall come to an ending till some time later...
if not i'm gonna feel so bad~~~!=x hees.

then, we went to meet liyun at tm.
n chloe n her sis were together wif her...
CHLOE got a NEW HAIRSTYLE!=D
looks rather cute wor! kekeke!=x
liyun me together went for a special mission after
having dinner together wif wuian(:
n after completin the special mission,
met wuian up n went her house for awhile,
for the cg blog and to paint my nails!=D
BUT...in the end, she came my house overnight!(:

n she came my house,
i complete the prayer list, paint my fingernails,
den we spent the whole night having our chats till 7am in the morning!
oh man...zzzz! i pleaded her for my slp=x haha!
den we were off to slp=x
i do really enjoyed the time with her!=D

1pm was jammin! i was late cox somehow i overslept=x
thus, i wore this shirt, "always late but worth wating for" opps!

Started off my first trip of the day wif....
MISSY WUIAN! hohoho!
this woman "carried" my legs into CHINATOWN!
chinatown don't seem to be a really nice place
for me, simply dun suit me.
yet, i can say, if u really go into detailed shoppin there,
you really can find the stuffs u desire!(:

And so....
MISSY WUIAN bought a pair of new shades & a dress!
and me...i bought a pair of new shades, a long sleeve shirt
=P, a red belt. hohoho!
then, we went walkin around chinatown
and back to...clark quay central to eat and shop=x

Went to British takeaway,
ate the fish, and the cheese hotdog with mashpotato.
hehehe! and wuian was very nice to treat me for all the food
and even the drink after she took her pay from work!=D

i went la~la~la with dearest jieying to town!
BUGIS STREET, we head down to change her bag.
then, we went around for a shoppin spree!
i bought three new tops, two new cardigans,
two bottoms, and a pair of shoes
at a low, low, low price.(:
jy bought one bottom as well.=D
after that, we had our dinner in one of the
restaurants at 2nd storey.
a grilled chicken for her,
a fish n chips for me!
YUMYUM, everything tastes good wen we are hungry!
hees!=D

then headed to 201 jammin studio for concert prac.
with jy and max's frien along=p
everything went off well,
EXCEPT, the instruments really couln't make it at times=x
opps=p hee, but still enjoyed the time spent with the few of dem=p

last of all,
TADA!....

the big lolli, jy gets for me from her genting trip,
& the peanuts her dad gave to me..
